Background A fast growing company specialised in artichokes production wants to increase the volume of its exports because of the huge availability of good quality product coming from the 2006-07 season production. The Egyptian producer follows all hygienic and sanitary standards during each single step of the production process and is available to send the product to Italy through 40’ refrigerated containers of 21 tons (2.100 boxes).
Project Profile Onemedit’ mandate is to search among the best Italian companies a proper partner interested in the Egyptian product. Onemedit will proceed according to the following plan: - selection of a sample of Italian companies specialized in the target sector; - organisation of meeting/s between the Egyptian producer and the potential partners; - preparation of a short report after each meeting including demonstration of interest; - any time demonstration of interest is tangible, organize a delivery of samples or factory visit in Egypt. After the first meeting between the parties Onemedit remains available with its staff to assist the Egyptian company and the company(s) selected from the language point of view in case translation in needed. The project now Onemedit has selected the sample of potential buyers, submitted it to the Egyptian producer for approval and has collected the first demonstrations of interests from a group of Italian companies willing to import the product.
